Kingdom Builders Ministry Network Newsletter - Jun 30,2007

Kingdom Greetings to all of you in the Name of Jesus Christ our
Savior
and Lord.

This is Apostle Townsend and for many of
you, it has been some time
since I have addressed you in this fashion. I have
been very busy in my
pursuit in seeking the path of God for this and the
other ministries to
which the Lord has assigned to my care. I praise God for
so many
opportunities to serve in this capacity. I thank God for His
faithfulness in
keeping family and the ministers serving with us as a part of
KBMN. I do
apologize for my absence and a thank you for your
prayerful
consideration during this period.

Many of you have been a
part of KBMN for some time now. I would like to
Thank You for your efforts in
spreading the Gospel of the Kingdom
throughout the world. I must emphasize
the importance of KBMN as a ministry
resource and tool to be used for
mentoring, encouraging and a help to
develop the ministry gift that God has
placed in you; so that you may
be better equipped to serve Him and to pursue
the vision He has placed
before you.

That being stated, I must
explicitly express to you all that KBMN does
not issue funds or money, nor do
we have the ability or resources to do
so. This is a network which connects
us all together as a force to
further the ministering of the Gospel. As
leaders, we are charged to teach
the principles stewardship, discipleship and
financial responsibility
amongst the flocks we serve. In teaching these
principles we are
equipping the people of God with hidden treasures that
produce much fruit
when put to work in their lives.

Not many years
ago my wife and I experienced the lost of all of our
substance. We were
seeking the serve the Lord in any capacity He desired
and the scripture he
gave us was Luke 9:1-6 KJV which reads:
1) Then he called his twelve
disciples together, and gave them power
and authority over all devils, and to
cure diseases.
2) And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal
the sick.
3) And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey,
neither
staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two
coats
apiece.
4) And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and
thence depart.
5) And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that
city,
shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.

6) And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the
gospel,
and healing every where."

You can not image how much we
wrestled with this Word. God then led us
both to leave our jobs. Understand
this, we had just built a new home,
had two very nice cars, three children to
care for and my wife was very
close to her date of delivery of our fourth
child. Looking past our
present circumstances we chose to be obedient to the
leading of the
Spirit of God.

We saw the things we worked so hard to
acquire being taken away piece
by piece and I along with my family where
homeless. The amazing thing
about this is that God proved to us that HE ALONE
was our provider, not
our jobs. My family always was provided for. The
ministry opportunities
increased 1000 fold and He has supplied us with
greater blessing on
this side our wilderness only because of our faith in God
and unwavering
obedience to His Word.

Teach your people that God's
arms are not to short or weak to meet
their need. Nor is his treasure trove
to poor or empty to meet yours.

We have been actively moving forward in
our effort to expand the reach
of Kingdom Builder Ministry Network as well as
seeking out positive
resources and opportunities to help strengthen your
ministry efforts in
you area. One of the most obvious changes is seen in our
new logo:
